Winter wonderland

Argh…. i’m sooo bored. When i say boredom, i MEAN boredom. This is sooo annoying. I’m in the library of my campus, and i have another 20 mins before i can actually go out to wait at my classroom.

I finally managed to get my camera outdoors! Because it is so snowy, i thought that my camera would freeze up or get snow clogged… Snowing for two days already…. the snow is above my ankles…. argh…. not fun at all. When i get back, i should upload the pics i took…. I hope i remember to do that actually….

I found that i can actually do lvl 300 psyc courses next year! Yes, all i need is 6 lvl 200 psyc credits, and if i pass this term, i would have gotten them! Well, i still need to take 270 and 271 to graduate with psyc degree…. aiyo…. so troublesome…. I feel nature calling, but my seat is so warm and toasty, i don’t want to move……. so gross….

Exploding synapses

You know, i think i did the wrong choice in buying so many games, but then again, everything i do is wrong….

I woke up early, had to reinstall RF online, then played it for a bit. The main reason as to why i need to reinstall, is because my launcher was being an arse. So anyway, i transfered my two power characters to the new public server, but what do you know… no one was there…. what the…. Really, i mean, NO ONE.

So i installed FFXI, and went through a whole WOHA of bullcrap. While some things they had did interest me, overall, very tedious. Their cute menu reminds me of playing a real-life dot hack! Yes! So cute!

So anyway, before i could play, i had to type in loads of registration codes and stuff…. then i needed to update the game…. sheesh, about 15365 files…. So i left for school

I went to buy myself two buffalo chicken taquitoes, don’t really know how to prounouce them, but sure. That was my breakfast. This random old man was jogging by and he said hi, so i replied. See? Canadians are SO MUCH nicer than Singaporean people. I think people in Singapore are just ignorant and stupid, yes, STUPID. Teaching all those stuff about being moral and good, but in the end? NOTHING CHANGES, YOU ARE ALL STILL SELFISH PRICKS!

So anyway, got on the bus, got to school, accompanied celine as she munched down a grilled chicken wrap with her booster juice… i don’t really like it, but it is nice that the school has such features now. So anyway, after that, i hurried off to class, only to find the dreaded ORANGE NOTE on the door of my class…. yes, my friends, the DREADED ORANGE NOTE. It said, that my prof was absent…. sheesh. My next class would be in 3 hrs time. What was i suppose to do?!

So i spent some time with v, don’t know her full name. Then she went back to the dorms to sleep, and i, went to library to sleep. I found this cute small cubicle! So cute! Anyway, i used it as a napping table, and wasted 3 hrs. Then i went to my psyc class. There, i noticed something. There is this bald dude in every single one of my classes. Yes, BALD. Like, COMPLETELY. It was like he ripped every strand off, or he went for kimo… is that how you spell it? Anyway, he’s in every one of my classes, and he carries this large metal attache case…. weird.

So i went back, and saw Long and Celine coming out from the mall…. er…. they had lunch together, and it was 2:30…. anyway, we waited in the cold for about ten more minutes, before our bus came. A lumbering double decker…. wow.

We got back nice and stiffy, before i tried on FFXI. I had expected better from the graphics, but maybe it is just my computer….. I want to go eat A&W….i’ll order a whole chubby chicken bucket with drumsticks and just stuff myself.

Yes, i made that whole list of things to do, because nothing is better than doing something, isn’t it? I’m not making any sense.

Ghost is Toast

Wowee, what a way to start a blog, huh? Yup, nothing says it like good old…. something

Today, came out World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade. According to EB personal, the lines were packed…. who knows.

I walked into the shop about 12. Wondered about, nothing to look at, walked out, bought lunch, ate lunch and for ONCE! Finished a whole meal from Koya in the foodcourt. Pork and shrimps with mushrooms on rice with teriyaki sauce, yum. To add off, a small bowl of msg filled wonton soup, extra yummy!

So i finished that, wondered back into EB, and talked with the shop clerk. She was the one who sold me loads of games last term, and plus the PS3. The other lady sold me loads of games during the summer. She was there later. So anyway, after talking for a bit, as always, i walked out of the shop, not empty handed. I walked out with a FFXI game, and get this, it is the original, plus the THREE expansion sets, and ONLY FOR $35!! Awesome! Now, the only thing to worry about is the monthly payment…. uh-oh.

Today was very busy. Went to pay bills, went to 7-11 to do that at the atm, but decided not to, all of a sudden, and bought five gaming magazines…. why do i always do that?

So anyway, i went to school with FFXI and five magazines in my bag… it felt heavier…. My prof went on about how we humans are big ego bastards. I only had that class today… phew.

So as i waddled through the snow to the bus stop, oh yeah, it was snowing since morning and stopped in the late afternoon. I saw Ben, the s’pore kid, with some girl. wooo…. Anyway, i met them, and found out that the girl, who looks a little malay, had stayed in s’pore quite some time ago and for about 5 years, before moving to England, and finally here. Quite a troublesome past, if you ask me. And she’s from somewhere near Thailand originally…. what the… So we talked and stuff, went to EB again since Ben wanted Burning Crusade. I walked with the two of them, and also got in line. I was really crazy, sugar high, maybe.

So i found out her name, Holly, or Hollie. Either one. A name from Artermis Fowl…. So anyway, she left before us to catch the bus, and i bought a Burning Crusade as well…. temptation got the better of me…. now, i have to worry about the monthly payment, so for the moment, the two games are just going to sit on my desk and look pretty.

Yes, like this…. Bullet witch is FINALLY coming out in Canada for Xbox360!!! YESH!!! I finally get to play it in Canada! I loved it in Singapore, though the controls were hard to master at first…. sheesh. Oh yeah, Lost planet is also out, got to remember to get it together with Saint’s Row and Call of Duty 3….. Hmm…. So much to do, so little time.

Rotating eyeballs

   It is all about rotating…. roll roll…. wow…

Went to Itto yesturday… by myself. Yes, i am lonely. I went there by myself for dinner. I had myself some VERY NICE food, thank you very much.  Though when i ordered Edi-Mayo, which is actually just tempura in a strange orange coloured mayo sauce, but still tasted nice, it was suppose to come in six, not five… still, i was tired. Did not care too much about small details.

Next came tako-yaki….. i wish i had my camera…. They had these… i don’t know what. Looked like peeled off dried skin of onions…. whatever it was, it was on top of my tako-yaki, and what’s more… it was moving…. holy crap…. Like waving about, avoiding my chopsticks all together.

Well, overall, both are very good. They are heaven…. but expensive too… Anyway, as i waited for my main dish, my all-time favourite, saba shioyaki, i was listening to a couple talking with the chef. Now the restraunt may be japanese, but the people who run it are Korean. Long, myself and Celine, are quite well aquainted with one of the waiters there. Apparently, it was run by his family, so it is one big happy family business. Anyway, the couple was about five metres away, but i heard them just fine. Talked something about how there were no more borders in Europe, and how expensive everything was…. well duh. It IS Europe, you know…

Anyway, so my saba Shioyaki came, and so did a call from ma….. So as i talked on the phone, with that piece of metal pressed against my ear, i began to eat. It was delicious, words fail me, except, i wanted sake to go with the saba. That would be the best combination…. aaahhhhh….. looks like i need to go to ozeki if i want to get that combination.

I am having a major writer’s block…. i think my readers are getting impatient…. oh can it already, you try writing twelves stories at one shot…. you’re bound to get something stuck!

Oh yeah, if you ever wonder how long my hair actually is, i finally managed to tinker this website into getting my pics on…. finally.

Rotating keyboards

Talk about boredom…. i’m right now sitting in a computer lab typing this away, all the while waiting for SOMEONE to come in to teach. Someone just walked in, not TA or prof… let’s continue.

The pull out tray thingys for the keyboards can turn…. wooo…. at first, i thought it was just my weight that caused the thing to turn, but then i noticed the mechanics of it. Quite simple, actually, so much so that it actually embarrassed me.

Drone…. boring… actually, i wonder if i’m suppose to bring my CD to class…. well, i hope that it isn’t needed…. oops. I’m really bored here…. I think i hear someone, or something. My mistake, again…. wait a minute… who the heck is that? A rather asian looking person just stepped into the class…. never seen her before…. new person? Or just someone who isn’t part of my class, who just waltzed into this room by accident…. i prefer the latter….

The people in my class are rather, intimidating, scary looking…. Where the heck is the prof?!…. Okay, he’s here…

Balderdash

OMG. Yes, i start off my blod today with that. OMG. You might ask, why am i only writing at odd times, and not everyday, well, that can be easily explained that i am just too lazy to continue. So, by taking that into account, we can safely conclude that this blog is nothing but a way for me to release what is on my mind every once in a while.

Now, onto the OMG part. Yes, Woohaa and etc. I have just witnessed, the birth of the next generation. I. AM. OLD. My dear cousin has given birth to a health baby boy! OMG. By the name of Jayden, he has a slight reddish look on him… like a boiled lobster. OMG, his fingers are long!! They are like… ET long! Now, there is nothing wrong with that, it is just…. okay, maybe i do find it slightly freaky, but hey, i am now an uncle. Though not directly related, i am still one…. i feel old, someone get me a wheelchair.

Okay, now for the update, the low-down, the news, the in-thing. Okay, maybe not. Okay, i just BARELY passed the line for second probation. Getting a 55.3% was a lucky break. Anyway, my japanese brought it up with its 71%, though i thought i could have done better if i didn’t blunder at two points, one during the oral exam, and the other at the final exam.

I went back for two weeks, Singapore that is. One word. HOT. I went from a -30 degree c kelowna, and was dumped into the swelting heat of 30 degree c Singapore.  And what’s more, it was rainy all day.

Okay, picture this, i get off the plane, tired and glad to be home. Waited for luggages, which took some extra long time. Did not see anybody we know. Grabbed our bags, headed out, i got picked out for ‘random search’ AGAIN. You know, i think they are hinting that they do not like me. Oh yeah, then after that, met with pa and ma, who looked like they ran a marathon. Yes, why? Because they mistook our flight’s arrival to be 11pm, not am. Imagine that….

Anyway, so i tried to enjoy my holiday, first off, jetlag. Not so pleasant, but doable. Next, came the shocking news, that we had to cook for xmas eve. Now, normally, when me and long return back, we would expect to eat and not cook, well, looks like it is no different from normal, i guess.

Okay, so i miss the food, by a large margin, but look at long, it looks like he hasn’t eaten in days and was wondering the sahara dessert… I have no clue which is which, desert, or dessert.

So anyway, besides eating marathons, we also met up with family members and friends. On Thur went with friends to go clubbing. Met with a classmate of an old friend, and i must say, she is pretty cute. Sure, she is small in size, fragile looking, but her character and attitude packs a whole lot more, didn’t get her name, but hey, maybe i’ll get to see her again. Oh yeah, saw another BPSS person at a restraunt where we went to eat dinner. She let us in first, how nice! She looked pretty cute as well. Aaron was making fun of her name, Venetta, becomes Vendetta. At the restraunt, called “New York New York”, we had loads of free cotton candy. Yes, free. But i had to wonder, after coming back to Singapore, the last thing me and long wanted to eat was more western food. Nevermind. While the others ran off to harrass the cotton candy man, me and Aaron were conversing in Japanese, which caught the attention of several other people around us. Is it really weird for me and Aaron to converse in Japanese? Met Kelly! Yes, she went to America to study, and she still looks…. tall. Anyway, went to a club called MOMOs, DON’T GO THERE. Worst club ever. They were holding some party for FIRST YEAR POLI STUDENTS. OMG. What sort of club is that?! So no drinks, and no smoking. Well, i can do with the no smoking. But i ain’t no babysitter, so we were out of there.  Next, went to the famous Zuok, or whatever, don’t know how to spell it. Also sucked. Air-crew night, so only old people…. no thanks. Went off to MOS, ministry of sound. Cool, probably the best i’ve seen so far. Well, yeah, i know, i only went to three, but it still counts.

We took family portraits! Not so fantastic, but sure. It was more interesting than last time we took a family portrait. Anyway, so we did dress up and stuff…. my hair is really, really long…. We ate at that back ally of Tiong Bahru!!! So nice!!! I can eat there every single day. Overall, i think the food portion of our holiday was covered, but i forgot nasi lemak, fish-head curry and roti prata…. Ah, nevermind. I sat in Jie’s car a lot, and it was nice. I really like conversing with Jie, we always seem to click, so it was enjoyable. After hearing of Jie’s predictament, i dropped my anthropology course (didn’t really want to take it in the first place), and took up social psyc. What a relief! The prof is sooo funny!

I’m feeling rather sick here…. i’m still jet lagging after a week… I sleep at latest seven pm, and wake up at four… my stomach feels quesy after eating the food here…. argh….

I got a new laptop! It comes with a built-in webcam! But i find that i’m not really using it as often as i should. My desktop still seems more reliable, and faster too. But now, at least i can carry something to school to help ease the boredom of in-between classes.

Damn RF, i can’t access my account to change the billing. I was actually thinking of buying FFXI as well…. i wanted to try it out. As for RF, i’ll still keep on trying. My hard trained characters are still inside.

Right now, i’m hungry… i have several pizza pop in the freezer, but it won’t really help ease the hunger…. maybe for a bit.

I noticed that my other ‘personalities’ are becoming more dominant. While we do share the same thought, making this a more ‘bipolar disorder’, their actions are rather… odd, to say the least. More obvious to me, but maybe to others, they just think it’s me. Well, that is good, no need for others to keep worrying over me.

As for games, i bought a heck load of them, for my new PS3 and Xbox360. They are awesome, and i hooked them up to my TV so that AV1 is ps2, AV2 is ps3, and the one after that, which is HD, is for my xbox360. I actually haven’t touched about five of my games on the ps2, and haven’t completed about ten to twelve of them. Ah well….

As for fics, i’m starting a dungeon keeper fic! Continuing my Warcraft fic, StarOcean fic, Gundam fic and Ragnarok fic. I had hoped to get a lot done over my holiday, but looks like that never happened…. ah well.
