Eternity within a second

Quotes of the day!!

I decided to add a little something, because i’m bored and because the exams are drawing in so close that i can smell the ink coming from the printing machines in the arts building….. scary…. sigh, why is brain and behaviour for psychology so hard? Or is it just me? I think it’s just me…. everyone gets 70s and such…. i’m the only douche getting 40s…. what the hell…. i only just barely passed the first part of the course.

Anyway, onto the quotes of the day! Though these were more or less formulated through out the semester.

1) Towers are symbols of man’s arrogance,
a testament to his technology.
Songs are his pride,
proof of his culture.

This is saying many things. One, the symbol of man’s arrogance, creatures of land who dare to reach for the sky. And yet it also shows how far humans have come. Songs are his pride, for it is more complex than words, more simple than emotions, and a devotion to his heritage and past.  Within songs, you have words filled with emotions that pay tribute to past, present and future. A man’s pride, life.

2) Justice is remembered for a second,
Evil would stain for an eternity.

It is common to see how people who rejoice for justice, but even good people would be seen as evil as soon as they did one bad deed. It is easier to see the darkness than the light. Easier to see the wrong than the right.

3) Man is not born a man,
a hero is not born great,
but rather it is the trials he faces with determination that makes him who he is.

self explanatory.

4) To pull the trigger,
and end a life.
To extend a hand,
and save many more.

Sounds like one of those charity adverts….

5) Justice would not exist without evil and vice versa.
Both would not exist without morals.
Morals would not exist without words.
Words would not exist without humans.
What makes justice and evil, is within the mind of a man.

again, self-explanatory, more like this one is too long.
